Healthwatch Rochdale are holding a "Choosing a Care Home Information Day" event which is the first of a series of roadshow events which will give the public a opportunity to learn, understand and share experiences in regards to service Rochdale Adult Care provide.
The first event is aimed around the topic of care homes. As many will know, moving into a care home, or choosing one for a loved one, can feel daunting. That is why this event will give clear and up to date information to help you make the best choices, with tips on how to find and access good care.
The event will include speakers from Rochdale Council's Adult Care Team and Advocacy Together Hub Rochdale. This will be followed by a workshop session to discuss wider themes and experiences in more detail.
The event is free and although booking is not necessary it is advised as these are popular events. A selection of light refreshments and hot/cold drinks will be available on the day.
