Healthwatch Rochdale, in partnership with HMR Circle (https://hmrcircle.org.uk/ ) are hosting an event on Tuesday 10th December 2024 from 11:00am until 3:00pm at The Strand Community Hub, Kirkholt, Rochdale.
The event is aimed at the older people of the Rochdale Borough to come along and get information, advice or signposting from a range of local organisations and services to help them keep warm and well this Winter.
Some of the stall holders on the day include:
- Rochdale Adult care team- giving financial advice and much more
- Shopmobility – newly taken over by HMR Circle
- Living Well Rochdale – Learn about the work they do around preventative health
- Diabetic Eye Screening Service
- Macular Society
- Caring and Sharing – find out how they make a positive difference in the community
- Home Instead – with their famous “What’s on Where” guide
- Green Doctors from Groundwork
Plus many more and our honoured guest the Mayor of Rochdale, Cllr Shakil Ahmed, will also be joining us.
