Rochdale and Oldham Maternity Voices Partnership to host their first online “Meet and Greet”.
Healthwatch Rochdale have recently won the contract to deliver the MVP in Rochdale & Oldham and are being supported by Healthwatch Oldham.
We are inviting Rochdale & Oldham residents who have used antenatal or maternity services in the last three years to come along to find out more about the MVP and how you can get involved and help improve maternity services for local people. As well as local people we are inviting commissoners, providers of maternity services and some outside services such as breastfeeding support groups to become members of the MVP.
What is an MVP?
The Maternity Voices Partnership (MVP) is a forum for maternity service users, providers and commissioners of maternity services to come together to design services that meet the needs of local women, parents and families in the Rochdale and Oldham area.
Why should i get involved?
Being part of the MVP is a great way for you to express your views on the maternity care received during pregnancy, throughout the birth and postnatal care.
Your views and opinions are valuable, as these help to shape the future of local maternity services. Sharing your feedback can make a real change to the care mums, dads, parents to be and grandparents recieve.
How can i get involved?
The MVP will meet monthly to give local people the opportunity to feedback on their experience of local Maternity Services, to ask questions to the professionals present and receive updates on what is happening locally around these services.
If you are interested in becoming a part of the MVP you can contact us for an informal chat or join us for our first 'Meet and Greet' session.
