Big Conversation: Help shape health & care in Greater Manchester

In July 2022 Greater Manchester’s Integrated Care Partnership was established. The partnership brings together all the different organisations which support people’s health and care.

Members of the Partnership come from all ten parts of Greater Manchester (GM), including all NHS organisations, councils, GM Combined Authority, organisations from across the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sectors and others all working together to help achieve a shared vision.

The partnership will work with people and communities to create and oversee the region’s overall integrated care strategy (five year plan).

The Greater Manchester Integrated Care Partnership (ICP) are currently developing a five year plan to address the health and care needs of the population across Greater Manchester. This plan will include actions to improve health and healthcare and reduce inequalities in health outcomes, experience and access to services.

Greater Manchester ICP would like to understand what matters most to people and communities to make sure the five year plan reflects the needs of Greater Manchester’s people and communities.

Between March and May 2022, a Big Conversation was carried out across Greater Manchester to ask about the vision and aims of the plan.  1332 gave their views and said they agreed with these.

Now the Greater Manchester ICP want to understand what matters most to communities across all ten boroughs of Greater Manchester to help shape the priorities and actions for the plan.  This is being done by holding local face to face conversations throughout October 2022 in each borough.

Please tell us what matters most by answering four questions.
