The role of the Healthwatch Rochdale Advisory Group is to ensure that local people's lived experiences of using NHS, health and care services is used to inform and shape the work of Healthwatch Rochdale.
The Advisory Group aim to have representation of its members from the diverse community across the Rochdale borough who can represent their local community and share patient experience to help shape future NHS, health and care services. They have a keen passion for promoting better services for local people.
Healthwatch Rochdale are recruiting for a volunteer Advisory Group Chair to help steer this group and be a main point of contact.
As Chair the successful candidate will help steer and develop the Advisory group, be a key point of contact, attend formal meetings, Chair the monthly Advisory Group meetings, engage with Rochdale residents, be a representative of Healthwatch and promote the work we do.
You will be supported by the Healthwatch Rochdale team and be provided with training and development for this role.
It is an exciting volunteering opportunity to help bring change to the Rochdale Borough for health and social care.
