Healthwatch Rochdale publish findings and recommendations from their 2018 Stakeholder Review.
Healthwatch Rochdale has been the independent consumer champion for children, young people and adults who use health and social care services in the borough since 2013.
The Stakeholder Review was a short reflective audit survey consisting of six questions which gave stakeholders (local professionals and organisations) a chance to have their say and share their opinions on Healthwatch Rochdale. The aim of this review was to help the organisation identify areas of good practice as well as areas for improvement and to help the organisation continue to develop.
Following the survey responses an action plan was developed which included the following 5 recommendations:
- To review information sharing through external communications to public and professionals
- Continue partnership working in the Rochdale borough with the public and voluntary sector organisations
- Raise further awareness of the Healthwatch Rochdale service in the Rochdale borough
- Review the usability and content on the Healthwatch Rochdale website
- Review the meetings which Healthwatch Rochdale operational staff attend
These recommendations will be incorporated into Healthwatch Rochdale’s operational workplan for 2019/20.
