Read the difference we have made in the Rochdale Borough in our 2021/22 Annual Report
Today (30.06.22) we have published our 2021/22 Annual Report ‘Championing What Matters to You’ demonstrating how the people of the Rochdale borough have helped to shape local NHS and social care services by sharing their experience with us.
The annual report outlines the work of Healthwatch Rochdale over the last twelve months, including the contribution of our volunteers, the impact this work has made and details of our future plans.
The Annual Report highlights that in 2021/22:
- 496 local people shared their experience of health and social care services with us
- 552 people were given information, advice and signposting support
- Carried out 7 surveys with a total of 940 responses.
- Set up our Youthwatch Rochdale
Kate Jones, Healthwatch Rochdale, Chief Executive Officer said:
“The last twelve months have seen us set up our Youthwatch Rochdale so that young people can have a say in helping to influence local services. Our Youthwatch & #Youthwatch100 surveys are essential in helping us understand the needs of the young people of the Rochdale borough.
In addition, we have also been developing our Advisory Group to ensure that the needs & experiences of our local communities are identified and used to shape our work.
The staff team and I were delighted to welcome Margaret Parker as our new Chair of the Board, and I would like to thank Ben Greenwood for providing leadership & direction in his time as Interim Chair of the Board.
We are now once again back out in the community and are looking forward to speaking to more of our resident’s face to face.
I would like to thank all those who have shared their experience with us over the last twelve months as we couldn’t have made a difference without you.”
