Help improve local health & care services by joining Healthwatch Rochdale’s Advisory Group.

Healthwatch Rochdale are looking for people who are passionate about making a difference to health & care services to join their Advisory Group.

The Advisory Group was created to give local people a stronger voice in ensuring the lived experiences of those using NHS and/or care services shapes the work of Healthwatch Rochdale. The Advisory Group will work with staff & board members to identify local priorities & concerns and suggest actions for emerging issues.

Healthwatch Rochdale is the independent health and social care champion for the Rochdale borough and is part of the Healthwatch network. Healthwatch exist to listen to people’s experiences of health and social care services and use those experiences to help improve services locally and nationally.

All the work we undertake as a Healthwatch is led by what local people tell us about health & care services. Resident’s feedback is the evidence we need to make changes and improvements. Our Advisory Group takes this one step further through members shaping & influencing our work based on local issues and what we are hearing. We aim to have representation from the diverse community of the Rochdale borough and welcome applications from all those who have a passion for improving health & care services
