We are looking for young people aged between 13 – 18 to join Youthwatch Rochdale.

We are looking for Rochdale borough residents aged between 13 – 18 to join our newly developed Youthwatch.
Young girl

As the independent local champion for people who use health and social care services in the Rochdale borough we have developed Youthwatch to make sure that young people get the opportunity to have their say.

Youthwatch members are voluntary and will help us engage with young people, gather their experiences of services and promote the work of Healthwatch Rochdale.

There is no minimum time requirement to become a Youthwatch member, however 2 – 4 hours per month time commitment is advised to get the most from the opportunity. Youthwatch meetings currently take place monthly via Zoom.

Young people don’t always get to have their say on local health & care services and Youthwatch has been set up to change that. We want to ensure that local services are right for the young people of Rochdale and Youthwatch will play a key role in helping us to ensure young people are involved in shaping health & care services

Ben Greenwood, Healthwatch Rochdale interim Chair of the Board
